Dinner at Enrique Olvera’s Damian at Los Angeles Arts District

Michelin-starred chef Enrique Olvera from Mexico City, whose restaurant Pujol in Mexico City was named the best restaurant in North America by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants group, opened his long awaited restaurant on October 21, 2020. Olvera brought on Jesús Cervantes (from New York City’s Atla) as his chef de cuisine. Together, they’re serving up street food and other comfort dishes that you may get while travelling through Baja California, utilizing California ingredients from local farmers and farmers markets. The result is really delicious food accompanied by a variety of salsas that really amplify or compliment the dish.
